The Governor of Puerto Rico, Wanda Vázquez, today announced measures that again restrict the opening of the island after confinement, due to the increase in cases and hospitalizations for COVID-19, with the closing, again, of gyms.
The curfew, he said, remains as it has been until now from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and the population between 20 and 29 years old, which is the one with the highest level of contagion on the island, should remain, as much as possible, in their homes. In addition to the gyms, the governor prohibited the reopening of cinemas, bars and casinos and the sale of alcoholic beverages starting at 7pm.
